Deadline for pre-proposals for IT Transformation Grants is April 1
The University of Delaware Information Technologies IT Transformation Grant program offers grants to faculty to transform education with the support of new and innovative uses of technology. The funding opportunities have been expanded to include faculty time, graduate or undergraduate student time, conference attendance and travel, software and equipment.
The process begins with a short explanation of the faculty member's idea in a pre-proposal. The deadline for pre-proposals is April 1.
Campus Microsoft license explained: Changes to Microsoft Work at Home licenses for UD
UD's Microsoft license allows for installation of Office or Windows on UD-owned computers at no additional cost; the Work at Home license requires a nominal fee.
Open Education Week to be observed March 11-15 at UD
Open Education Week is a worldwide event that will take place March 11-15 online and in locally hosted events, including at the University of Delaware. For the first time this year, IT Academic Technology Services (IT-ATS) will host local events to promote open education to UD faculty, staff, and students.
