University IT Transformation Grant program open for submissions
Feb 12, 2013
The IT Transformation Grant program returns this year with expanded funding opportunities, a two-stage proposal process and a new timeline. This program offers grants to faculty to transform education with the support of new and innovative uses of technology.
This year, the program combines resources from IT and the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning. The funding opportunities have been expanded to include faculty time, graduate or undergraduate student time, conference attendance and travel, software and equipment.
The process begins with a short explanation of the faculty member's idea in a pre-proposal. A successful pre-proposal should convey the strength of the idea to the review committee as briefly as possible.
