Information Technologies Transformation Grant--new opportunity for UD faculty
Information Technologies (IT) is offering grants to transform education with the support of new and innovative uses of technology.
Through collaboration with IT, faculty can help define the next generation of technology on campus.
The grant is an opportunity to test and assess new instructional techniques and technologies in a small scale, low risk environment. Lessons learned from the grant will help IT establish new widespread services on campus.
Canvas offered as complement to Sakai@UD
In fall 2012, IT will extend a pilot program that began in the spring to evaluate using Instructure Canvas as a complement to Sakai@UD.
Canvas will not replace Sakai@UD. Rather, the idea is to provide faculty with a flexible environment that will best suit their needs, whether a course is face-to-face, hybrid, distance learning or self-paced.
