Using Forms in Google Apps
Recently, we showed some staff in Chemical Engineering how to use Forms in Google Apps. But what made this session unique was our meeting with some of the staff before the session to find out what they were trying to accomplish. One task required them to collect information from a large group for event planning. We showed them how to use a Google Form to ask recipients various questions, then the responses are automatically entered into a Google spreadsheet. For example, they asked contact info, choice of dinner, etc. They could then use a pivot table to quickly find out how many of each dinner choices to order.
